Alcoholics Anonymous and Recovery is meeting at our every Wednesday at 6:30pm at the parsonage.
Naomi's Cupboard supplies meals for people recovering from illness, surgery or birth of baby or grief. If you need help please contact Pastor Claudia 262-352-1985 or our church office.
Community Dinner is served each Monday night at the Masonic Hall in Tomah. Dinner is at 4:30pm.

If you need transportation to attend church services or activities Please call Tomah Transit to arrange a ride. Call them at 608-374-3004 the day before to arrange a ride. Tell them you are apart our " Wheels to Worship and our church will pay your fair for you!!!!

St. Clare Health Mission of Monroe County
Free health care for Monroe County residents over 18 years of age who have no health insurance and whose financial status prevents seeking medical treatment.

When: 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening each month, 5 - 6:30 p.m. Registration (No appointments needed). Patients seen on first come / first served basis.
In-house pharmacy for prescribed medications (no narcotics prescribed).
No services available for mental health counseling, dental care, or vision care.
St. Clare Health Mission of Monroe County is staffed entirely by volunteer medical staff and office volunteers. Spanish language interpreters are available at each clinic.
Adopt-A-Highway
First UM Church has an assigned section of Hwy 16 for which we made a commitment to clean-up twice annually. What we lack is a key coordinator to organize this effort. Connect with Dean Baumgarten to learn more or to indicate you would be willing to lead this ministry of our care of the earth. There is a sign up sheet on the kiosk to indicate you would assist on clean up days.

We are now looking for a Lead teacher for our school
Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records, forms, and files.
Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
A strong understanding of child development.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
SIDs/AHT
Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE (Early Childcare and Education).
Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools, or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat, or crawl.
A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Wage can start out at $12 to $15 per hour
We are now looking for a Teacher Assistant for our school.
The Teacher Assistant supports the Teachers and the Director by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. S/he must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Assisting the staff in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents, Teacher Assistant are responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities based on children's interests and needs under the direction of the Teacher and the Director.
Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to childcare center.
Follow all the center policies and state regulations.

Minimum of 1-2 years of professional childcare experience.
Will to do the Introduction class in the early childhood.
